Want to focus on the content of your classes without having to worry about your English? During this course you’ll learn phrases for explaining, clarifying and commenting, as well as typical classroom vocabulary, linking structures, and which language mistakes to avoid. You’ll prepare and teach short parts of your classes and receive individual feedback from a specialised teacher.

Content

  • skills: practising fixed expressions for describing things (e.g. when you can’t remember a word), for summarising, giving instructions, etc.
  • structure: use of signposts and linking phrases that will help you structure your lesson clearly
  • style: authentic English instead of literal translations
  • vocabulary: typical classroom vocabulary (e.g. ‘continuous assessment’, ‘please raise your hands’, etc.)


Evaluation

There is no test at the end of the course. We can issue a certificate of attendance on request.
