Want to focus on the content of your classes without having to worry about your English? During this course you’ll learn phrases for explaining, clarifying and commenting, as well as typical classroom vocabulary, linking structures, and which language mistakes to avoid. You’ll prepare and teach short parts of your classes and receive individual feedback from a specialised teacher.

  • skills: practising fixed expressions for describing things (e.g. when you can’t remember a word), for summarising, giving instructions (spoken and written), etc.
  • structure: use of signposts and linking phrases that will help you structure your lesson clearly
  • style: authentic English instead of literal translations
  • pronunciation training: speaking easily understandable English, focusing on accent, word stress and intonation
  • grammar: ‘correct’ English, typical pitfalls
  • vocabulary: typical classroom vocabulary (e.g. ‘continuous assessment’, ‘please raise your hands’, etc.)


There is no test at the end of the course. We can issue a certificate of attendance on request.
