Who can apply for a room in the university residences?
The international rooms in the university residences can only be booked by exchange students who are staying in Antwerp for one semester.

How to apply for a room in a university residence?
Complete your request for accommodation in Mobility Online and choose one of the housing options:
- Book a room in one of the university residences. Keep in mind that the number of international rooms is limited.
- Find out about Kotweb and collect contact details for landlords on the private market who are willing to rent for one semester.
What rooms do we offer?
ECLIPS 1 - Stadscampus
- 33 rooms in Biekorfstraat 65, 2060 Antwerp - 395 EUR
- The house has a total of 44 student rooms and 2 kitchens. There is a daily concierge service for inspection and maintenance of the common areas. The rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, chair, washbasin, internet, ... There is one shower per 2 or 3 persons. A washing machine can be found in the entrance hall.
ECLIPS 3 - Stadscampus
- 7 studios in Lange Dijkstraat 96, 2060 Antwerp - 480-500 EUR
- The house has a total of 8 student studios. There is a daily concierge service for inspection. The rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, chair, internet, ... You have got a private bathroom, some of them are located in the hallway, less then 1 meter from your studio.
KOTMERCKX - Stadscampus
- 47 rooms in Lange Winkelstraat and Rodestraat, 2000 Antwerp - 340-460 EUR
- The rooms (8 - 18 m²) are furnished with a single bed with mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe, sink with cold water and an internet connection.
AG VESPA - Stadscampus
- 5 rooms in Kleine Kauwenberg 7 and 5 rooms in Kleine Kauwenberg 21, 2000 Antwerpen - 490 EUR
- The rooms (20m²-25m²) are furnished with a single bed with mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe. They have a private bathroom and a shared kitchen.
PRINCE - Stadscampus
- 16 single rooms in Koningstraat 8, 2000 Antwerpen - ± 600 EUR
- The rooms are furnished with a bed with mattress, desk, chair and wardrobe. They have a private bathroom and a shared kitchen.
- 3 double rooms in Koningstraat 8, 2000 Antwerpen - ± 1000 EUR
- The rooms are furnished with a bed with mattress, desk, chair and wardrobe. They have a shared bathroom and a shared kitchen.
HOME CDE - Campus Drie Eiken
- 16 rooms at Campus Drie Eiken - Dr. Donnyplein, 2610 Wilrijk - 370 EUR
- The rooms (12 m²) are furnished with a single bed with mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe, sink with hot/cold water and an internet connection. Each floor (10 rooms) has a kitchen with dining area, 2 showers and 2 toilets for common use. There is a common room with tv, ping pong, ... A washing and drying machine can be used for a fee.
Keep in mind that:
- The rooms in the student residences need to be rented for five months:September - January or February - June. (The start and end date may vary per accommodation)
When will I receive more information about my housing application?
You will receive more information about your housing request between the following deadlines:
Students arriving in the first semester (autumn):
- Between the 30th of May and the 15th of July. Please note that we can only send you information about housing once your application for the University of Antwerp has been completed and approved by the faculty. If you haven’t received any news concerning your housing application by the first week of July please contact the international coordinator for a status update.
Students arriving in the second semester (spring):
- Between the 21st of November and the 15th of December. Please note that we can only send you information about housing once your application for the University of Antwerp has been completed and approved by the faculty. If you haven’t received any news concerning your housing application by the first week of December please contact the international coordinator for a status update.
Unfortunately the number of rooms in the university residence is limited, so not all students who request a room in a university residence will be able to receive an offer in a residence. If the residence is fully booked, we will provide you information how to search on the private market.
