Overview online platforms
At the University of Antwerp, you use four online platforms. Together, they give you all the information you need about your studies and student life at our university.
The Student Portal
Your main starting point for everything related to your studies and student life. You will find your course materials and course content, as well as practical information on study grants, student housing and study support.The Student Portal is also where you receive all official messages from your lecturers, faculty and the university.
Blackboard: your learning platform
Via the “Courses” button in the Student Portal, you access Blackboard, the online learning platform. Here you will find all your course materials, course content, videos, exercises and more. Please note: your courses only appear in Blackboard after you have enrolled in them via SisA.
SisA: your administrative tool
SisA is the administrative system for your studies. You use it to compose your study programme, consult your class schedule, download certificates of enrolment, check your tuition fees, view your exam results and update your personal details.
Your student mailbox
Your student email address is firstname.lastname@student.uantwerpen.be. If another student has the same name, a number will be added.Important information is sent via this mailbox. Check it daily, or link it to your personal email account to make sure you do not miss messages from your lecturers or the university.
Class schedule
You can find your class schedule in TimeEdit after registering your study programme.You can also synchronise it directly with your digital calendar.
