The last scientific population census took place in 1984. At that time, the administration and territorial subdivision were far different from what prevails today in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
In this regard, we have developed a dataset on population projections and estimations in the DRC, including some excel sheets that constitute that dataset and a document called “fiche technique” that explains how we made the computations.
