Welcome to the website of the Laboratory of Cell Biology and Histology, interfaculty research group of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Our core activities are concentrated on gaining a better understanding of the cell biology of human physiology and disease using data-driven microscopy. Check out our research topics.
CBH runs the Antwerp Centre for Advanced Microscopy (ACAM), is founding member of the Centre of Excellence µNeuro and of the IOF-consortium for image based biomarkers IMARK.
CBH Raises €1,535 for Alzheimer Research
The CBH lab team recently organized a successful fundraising campaign in support of the Alzheimer Research Foundation (Stichting Alzheimer Onderzoek – stopalzheimer.be). Operating under the name Alzogether CBH, the team baked and sold homemade cookies, ultimately raising €1,535 for this important cause.
To conclude the campaign, members of the team participated in the 10 km walking trail of Les Boucles Ardennaises in La Roche-en-Ardenne. Despite forecasts of rain, the sun came out, making for a beautiful and uplifting day.
Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts!
