All candidates must submit a complete application and pay the advance fee of 2 000 euro before acceptance can be granted. .
Students accepted to the programme can start the procedure for obtaining a student visa. However, please be aware that you will need two letters of acceptance in order to apply for a student visa:
- a letter of acceptance from Linguapolis
- a letter of acceptance from a Flemish college or university for the subsequent academic year.
The application procedure for the Preparatory One-Year Dutch Programme will differ depending on which Flemish college or university you choose to continue your studies in academic year 2021-2022: the application procedure consists of six steps.
Step 1: Application + advance payment
First fill out the online application form, which can be found on our website: www.linguapolis.eu/prepyear.
Step 2: Interview
Students whose application file is accepted will receive an invitation for an interview via Skype, the purpose of which is to evaluate the applicant’s familiarity with the programme and their level of English, which at least needs to be at an intermediate level (CEFR B1).
Step 3: Providing legalised documents
The applicant provides documents that allow us to verify the authenticity of the degree(s), transcripts and translations.
Step 4: Letter of Acceptance
A personalised letter of acceptance will be issued.
Step 5: Payment enrolment fee
After arriving in Belgium, and before the programme starts, students must make an appointment with Ms Christa Huygen, student administration officer at Linguapolis, for administrative follow-up and payment of the remaining enrolment fee.
Step 6: Admission letter
After successfully completing all the previous steps, students will be issued with a personalised Letter of Admission, which can be used for registration with the municipality.
