The base programme of the permanent education in customs law and excises will be annually organized. The first sequence starts in February 2018. It will be a modular and academic specialty training in customs law and excises, organized by the University of Antwerp (in Dutch) and the University of Liège (In French), but in consultation with the Belgian public finance department. The courses take the EU Customs Competency Framework into account.
In first instance, a general module will be organized (see here for programme), Dutch. Subsequently, trainees who have graduated the general module, can enroll in several specialty modules. More information about these modules, including the language in which they will be tought, will follow later. The EU Customs Competence Framework will, of course, also be taken into account in these specialty training modules.
