Education

• Develop appropriate tools to evaluate the impacof t university development cooperation
• Theory-based evaluation of the impact  of the various UAntwerp ICPs
• Draft  evaluation reports and share findings  with UAntwerp academic staff
• Propose follow up measures and improvements to improve quality and relevance of programmes and to finetune the M&E system​

Capacity building of South partners/ alumni teams

• Start-up alumni research teams in ‘hubs’ (Africa, Asia, Latin America) to be involved in the impact study
• Capacity building of the alumni team members to refresh or upgrade research skills where necessary
• Joint development of research design, joint data collection and analysis
• Provide trainings and tools (e.g. database, alumni app) on ‘how to set up and manage M&E of development impact’ and ‘alumni policy’ for the academic staff of partner universities in the South 

Outreach

• Strengthening networks between the UAntwerp staff and its international alumni
• Brokeringnetworks in the South between in-country based Belgian development actors (e.g. Embassy), employers, academia, and alumni
• Stimulating exchange of knowledge and good practices between Belgian development actors , UAntwerp and possibly other Flemish universities.
• Identifying ‘Impact’ champions among international UAntwerp alumni

Research

• Joint research output with the alumni teams / South partners
• Dissemination of research output through different channels
