To access the electronic library from home, you need a VPN client: Cisco Secure Client. This client allows you to establish a secure VPN connection. Use the server address vpn.uantwerpen.be.

Good to know
- Some databases are not accessible outside the UAntwerp campuses, even when using a VPN connection. In these cases, the publisher does not permit remote access. This is the case for e.g. Literom. Most (Belgian) legal databases are subject to specific rules about remote access.
- External library users, who are not affiliated with the University of Antwerp as a student or staff member, do not have remote access to electronic resources. These resources can only be consulted in the reading rooms of the university library.
