How to apply and enroll

in the Master of Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology

Entry requirements

Check the diploma and language requirements to ensure that you are eligible to start the programme. If you meet the entry requirements, you can proceed with the application.

Do you have to apply?

  • If you don't have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a higher education institution in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg or if you need to apply for a visa, you always need to follow an online application via Mobility Online before you can enrol. Make sure to check the deadlines!
  • If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a higher education institution in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg and you are not required to have a visa, you don’t need to proceed via Mobility Online. You can go straight through to enrolment. You can apply until the start of the academic year. 

Tuiton fee, tuition fee reduction, cost of living and scolarships

Tuition fee

The mentioned fees apply to the academic year 2025-2026.

Your tuition fee is calculated based on how many credits you are using by registering for courses and are subject to yearly revision.  Please see the tuition fees overview page for more information about fees for other programmes and details about the payment.

  • standard rate for students with a nationality of an EEA-member state*: 299 euro + 14.3 euro/credit (1157 euro for 60 credits)
  • increased rates for students with other nationalities:
    • standard: 400 euro + 90 euro/credit (5800 euro for 60 credits)
    • tuition fee reduction: 400 euro + 45 euro/credit (3100 euro for 60 credits) [does not apply to credit contracts]

Tuition fee reduction

Conditions

To be eligible for a fee reduction the applicant needs to fulfill at least the following criteria:

  • does not yet have a master degree;
  • has no other scholarship;
  • and has a high standard of academic performance (GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4).

Procedure

The Faculty of Applied Engineering makes a limited number of tuition fee reductions available to students from the Master's programmes in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology. To apply for a reduced tuition fee, you need to fill in the application form before the deadline of 31 August. Only applicants who already received an admission letter can apply for the tuition fee reduction.

Deadline

The application deadline is 31 August. The applicant will be informed of the decision within 3 weeks after the application deadline.

Scolarships

The University of Antwerp itself doesn’t offer any scholarships. The Flemish government does give a limited number of Master Mind scholarships. You can find all information about this scholarship here.
