Tuition fee

To enrol in the Advanced Master Think Water, the following tuition fees apply:

Full-time student

Full-time enrolment (60 ECTS) = € 3.500 (= €320 administration fee + (60 x €53/ECTS))

Tuition fee reduction (60 ECTS) = € 1520 (€320 administration fee + (60 x €20/ECTS))* 

*Only possible after selection by the faculty and if the student does not have another scholarship. Maximum 2 students with an excellent study record from low or lower-middle income countries can be selected. More information can be found in the scholarship section.

Part-time student

You can spread the courses across several academic years (i.e. done quite often as a working student; for international students generally not possible due to residency requirements). In this case, your tuition fee depends on the number of credits within your selected yearly curriculum, on top of the administration fee. The number of credits for each course can be found in the overview of the programme structure .

For example: to combine work and education, a student decides to spread the programme across three academic years, such that the tuition fee is calculated as follows:

Year 1: 15 ECTS, tuition fee = €320 administration fee + (15 x €53/ECTS) = €1115

Year 2: 21 ECTS, tuition fee = €320 administration fee + (21 x €53/ECTS) = €1433

Year 3: 24 ECTS, tuition fee = €320 administration fee + (21 x €53/ECTS) = €1592

How Do I Pay?

The tuition fee has to be paid as soon as possible after your enrolment and course selection. After you have submitted your curriculum in the student portal, you can check your balance the next day and pay through bank transfer. Payment in instalments is possible, but you need to comply with additional criteria to be eligible. 

Payment of the tuition fee is required to receive your student card and study certificates. If your payment is incomplete, your access to the student portal and the online learning environment will be disabled and you will not be allowed to partake in the exams.

Please note that the payment of the tuition fee has no influence on the status of your enrolment. Even when ending an enrolment, a full or partial payment of the tuition fee, depending on the taken credits, is still required. Not paying the fee will not cancel your enrolment and the obligation to pay the tuition fee.
