In accordance with Article 4 of the law of 8 December 1992 safeguarding individual privacy with regard to the processing of the personal data, the reader is informed of the following:

In consideration of the automated processing of a loan and interlibrary lending, a number of personal data are collected. You may consult your data via the website of the university library, via My Libary. At the same time you have the possibility to ask in writing an inspection or correction of your personal data.

Electronic information

The website of the university library contains links to electronic information sources. Their use is subject to the limitations of the licenses. These licenses consist of copyright limitations which are to be observed by authorised users.
 
Students, researchers and staff of the University of Antwerp may access and use the electronic resources for educational use or in the context of research or private study. Commercial use is not allowed.

External users of the library may use most electronic resources in the reading rooms of the library on dedicated computers, also exclusively for educational use or in the context of research or private study.

Scan and photocopy

The photocopy machines in the reading rooms may only be used for copy work permitted by Belgian copyright laws. The University of Antwerp pays copyright fees to Reprobel. The photocopying of articles and parts of books is therefore allowed. Printing from the databases which are offered by the library is, according to the licence agreement, allowed for non-commercial use.
