Yannick Smeets

Yannick Smeets is a voluntary PhD researcher in the Government and Law Research Group in the Faculty of Law in the field of constitutional law. He is also a freelance lawyer and mediator in the field of environmental law (omgevingsrecht) appointed as an external environmental expert within the Flemish Environmental Permit Commission (Gewestelijke Omgevingsvergunningscommissie/GOVC) and is co editorial secretary at STORM (Tijdschrift voor Stedenbouw, Omgeving, Ruimtelijke ordening en Milieu).
