The Research Affairs Office supports both the research policy at the UAntwerp and researchers/research groups striving for excellent research
DRIVERS
- Development & training
We provide info sessions and an extensive training offer on several important topics in the research cycle (Research data management, Open Science, BOF-calls, publication strategies, research integrity, etc.). - Reporting & analysis
We inform the Research Board University of Antwerp and the Flemish government (EWI, FRIS, ECOOM) on the research activities and research outcomes at the University of Antwerp. - Information, advice & solutions
We support individual researchers, research groups, and governance bodies regarding research policy and assessment. We coordinate and support the Research Board of the University of Antwerp and its Bureau. - Visibility & impact
We encourage researchers to increase their visibility, i.e., by continuously improving the registration and display of research results. - Expand opportunities
We proactively inform researchers about internal funding opportunities, and obligations around ethics and research data (management). - Reach out
We build strong networks and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders (including other universities and research performing organisations, university networks and alliances, and (inter)national governments). - Safeguarding compliance
We provide efficient and effective translations of (and advice on dealing with) the regulatory frameworks in which we operate.
