VLIR-UOS sponsored Inter-university cooperation with Universidad Catolica Boliviana
The Joint Steering Committee of the VLIR-UOS sponsored IUC (inter-university cooperation) with the Universidad Catolica Boliviana (UCB) and met in La Paz from 8 to 12 August 2022.
In the context of that cooperation, the Law and Development Research Group will again host several UCB doctoral students for the next five years.
Two PhDs in law will cover indigenous forest law and community legal clinics. A third interdisciplinary PhD will be shared with the engineering faculty at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and cover contamination of the Kathari River Basin from the perspective of affected indigenous communities.
