From 15 to 19 August 2022, the the Centre for Human Rights of Pretoria, in partnership with the Law and Development Research Group, hosted an intensive short course on the right to development in Africa. Lecturers affiliated with the Law and Development Research Group included Koen De Feyter, Devanshi Saxena, Liliana Lizarazo-Rodriguez, Gamze Erdem Türkellli and Wouter Vandenhole. The Centre and its partners also hosted a two-day round table dialogue on the right to development on the 19th and 20th of August 2022 at Future Africa. The intensive short course is an annual event and part of a more comprehensive collaboration scheme between the two partners.
