Minicourse Event at ULB on Oct 10, 2022
This is the first Minicourse Event of the Excellence of Science Project "Beyond Symplectic Geometry". It is organized by the ULB EoS-team around Joel Fine, Melanie Bertelson, and Bruno Premoselli.
Date & Venue:
It will take place on Monday, Oct 10, 2022 at the ULB (Campus de la Plaine) in room FORUM.I.2068-70 (= in the building marked "Forum" on this campus map). Take the entrance marked FORUM F. The way to the room will be signed.
How to get there by public transport: consults for example GoogleMaps.
If you intend to come by car, please contact Joel Fine for a parking permit. Please keep in mind that Brussels has a so-called "low emission zone" and other "obstacles/constraints" with regards to entering Brussels by car.

Registration is mandatory but free: Registration deadline PASSED (Oct 2, 2022). Registration is mandatory since the ULB EoS team needs to know the number of participants for organisational reasons (lunch etc.).

Minicourse Event at UAntwerpen on Jan 23, 2023
This is the second Minicourse Event of the Excellence of Science Project "Beyond Symplectic Geometry". It is organized by the UAntwerpen EoS-team around Sonja Hohloch.
The speakers at this event are Joel Fine (ULB), Partha Ghosh (ULB), Alberto Rodríguez-Vázquez (KU Leuven), and Joeri Van der Veken (KU Leuven).
Date & Venue:
It will take place on Monday, Jan 23, 2023 at the University of Antwerp on Campus Middelheim in Building G in room M.G.005 (on the ground floor of building G). Travel instructions may be found HERE or for instance via GoogleMaps.
If you intend to come by car: Please keep in mind that Antwerp has a so-called "low emission zone (LEZ)" (= everything inside the highway ring). Campus Middelheim is located outside this zone, but depending on how/where you get on/off the highway you may pass through the LEZ or not (E19 exit/entry no. 6 "Wilrijk" avoids the LEZ, but the E19 exit "Antwerpen Zuid/Berchem" makes you pass through the LEZ for a short moment). The entrance to our parking lot is HERE (don't confuse it with the entrance to the underground parking of the hospital next to us 40m down the street). Joaquim and/or Sandor will wait there from 9:30h onward until 10:15 plus epsilon to let you into our parking lot.
