
Adeodata Kanyamihanda completed her master's degree at the University of Antwerp, specialising in Belgian public law and EU migration law. She also participated in exchange programmes at Université de Louvain-la-Neuve and Université de Montréal. In September 2024, she began her PhD research and has been serving as a teaching assistant under the guidance of Prof. Johan Meeusen. Her research focuses on the protection of climate-displaced individuals in the European Union, approached through comparative legal perspectives. Beyond her academic work, she is passionate about helping others, which makes her a natural team player. In 2023, she founded the "Diversity for Law Students" project, an initiative that earned her the Queen Mathilde Prize. She is deeply committed to supporting students and making a positive impact on society.
