Luísa Rodrigues Rocha is a PhD researcher and teaching assistant in intellectual property law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp. In her PhD thesis, she is investigating the potential of access and benefit-sharing agreements, derived from patents based on genetic resources and intrinsic Traditional Knowledge, in supporting the right to development of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities. Luísa holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Antwerp (2025) and a Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil (2022).
