The Sustainable Development Goals are increasingly taken up by sub-national policy-makers, not only as the framework for external communication but also to steer the internal targets of an organisation. The province of Antwerp aims to base its policy and related internal organisation on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The University of Antwerp supports the province in the transition process. An intensive co-creation process is implemented to decide how the SDG indicators can best fit to the internal goals and indicators, how the province can achieve the highest impact possible in terms of SDG’s and how that impact can be monitored and evaluated.
