The University of Antwerp and BNP Paribas Fortis have joined forces in this chair on port innovation. Thanks to the university's extensive knowledge of transport and logistics, combined with BNP Paribas Fortis's quality support, we can respond quickly and efficiently to new developments in the maritime and logistics sector.
The chair's supervisors and researchers aim to bolster and refine excellent academic knowledge with regard to modelling, data collection, etc. and to acquire new scientific insights and skills. Students are kept up to date on research results during lectures and guest lectures and through involvement in projects. The chair enables a specific focus on the development of competencies. The international research is not confined to the universities, but also plays a role in the public debate.
