Personal Effectiveness


This course will help young researchers to cope better with the available working time by creating insight of the principles, techniques and methods of time management and personal organization, taking into account the specific situation of the university.

After completing the training, participants will be able to:
- Setting goals (S.M.A.R.T.)
- Maintain better Priorities
- add structure in the workplace
- work from the "clean desk" principle
- deal more effective with failures and interruptions
- identify time rovers and consciously tackle improvement
- monitor responsibilities more efficiently
- say "no" on an assertive way
- forget less
- create peace in their heads
- keep their message traffic under control
- e-mail more efficiently
- use their (electronic) agenda to the fullest.
